Products Description

3D composite drainage geonet drainage system made of high-density polyethylene as raw material, adding color master extrusion, composite on both sides of about 300 grams of filament geotextile complex of new backward drainage material.

Products Application
Three-dimensional geocomposite drainage network for landfills
1. 3D composite drainage geonet is used for groundwater drainage layer in the dump reservoir area;
2. 3D composite drainage geonet is used for leakage detection layer in the dump area;
3. 3D composite drainage geonet for leachate collection and drainage layer in the dump area;
4. 3D composite drainage geonet is used for sealing gas collection and drainage layer in the dump reservoir area;
5. 3D composite drainage geonet for surface water collection and drainage of sealed site in dump reservoir area;
In landfill project, 3D composite drainage geonet will be applied in leachate layer and seepage layers.

Products Usage
A Composite Drainage Geonet is a critical geosynthetic material in modern landfill engineering, specifically designed to provide high-performance drainage while integrating filtration and protection functions. This product typically consists of a three-dimensional geonet core, manufactured from rigid HDPE polymers, which is thermally bonded to one or two non-woven geotextile fabrics. This combination creates an all-in-one composite system that delivers superior hydraulic conductivity, filtration, and soil separation.
In a landfill's primary liner system, the Composite Drainage Geonet plays an indispensable role as the leachate collection layer. The standard configuration, from bottom to top, is as follows: first, a compacted clay liner forms the foundation. Above this, a smooth geomembrane-typically a 1.5mm to 2.0mm thick HDPE sheet-is deployed as the primary impermeable barrier to prevent leachate migration into the subsoil. The Composite Drainage Geonet is installed directly on top of this geomembrane. The geotextile side of the composite faces down, protecting the delicate geomembrane from puncture during installation and from long-term abrasion. The open, three-dimensional geonet core provides a robust pathway for the rapid conveyance of leachate, with a very high in-plane transmissivity, often exceeding 5 x 10⁻⁴ m²/s, even under the immense compressive loads of overlying waste.
A separation geotextile is then placed on top of the geonet. This fabric acts as a filter, preventing fine particles from the waste from clogging the drainage core, thereby maintaining its hydraulic capacity over the landfill's entire operational life. This synergistic system-geomembrane for containment, geonet for drainage, and geotextile for filtration and protection-ensures the efficient collection and removal of leachate, safeguarding the surrounding environment from contamination.
